很多大型的科技公司，例如Facebook及Google，都有「賞金獵人計劃」，其實就是尋找程式錯誤的賞金計劃。只要獵人找到他們公司的系統漏洞，成功「捉蟲」便會賞金。

曾經有年僅10歲的芬蘭男孩找到Instagram的漏洞，因而獲得1萬美金賞金。外國更設有「捉蟲賞金」網站，最著名的包括HackerOne及Bugcrowd，科技公司都會在此徵求各位賞金獵人幫忙完善系統。
